Before a smart leader came into Pam’s life, she was a well seasoned, back-stabbing, corporate-hating, finger-pointing, excuse-making and pathologically negative middle manager. After being held accountable for her toxic behaviors, Pam went on to succeed as an executive and an entrepreneur. After ending her corporate career as a Chief Operating Officer, Pam made a vow to use what she had learned to help alleviate the suffering that comes from:
1. working in environments where supervisors are intimidated by employees such as herself, who’s behaviors are tolerated because they are good in their areas of expertise even though poor at business etiquette.
2. working under bosses who are not developing nor advocating for their employees.
3. not understanding how to manage up and have crucial conversations with co-workers and bosses.
Pam studied arts and sciences at the University of Oklahoma, and graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelors of Business Administration. Since then, she has presented workshops and seminars and consulted in all fifty US states and many foreign countries.
Bernie’s passion lies in using his business, HR and coaching acumen to assist small to medium sized businesses (annual sales of $3 M to $50 M), with a specialty in coaching family-owned businesses, directed at achieving their organization’s true potential, delivering positive and profitable outcomes for their stakeholders and communities.
